Hi everyone ^^

I need help.

So I just recently bought a Samsung YP T9 and I decided to install the software.
I did about everything it asked me to do, and so now I'm using Samsung Media Studio.
I spent about 4 to 5 hours reinstalling and making sure I did everything correctly because I can't seem to be able to transfer music onto my mp3 player!

There are 4 tabs: My PC; My Albums, Burn CD and Portable,
but I can't seem to get to the Portable window, and I'm pretty sure that's how I'll be able to transfer music properly am I correct?

Is there a something that lets me know that my mp3 isn't connected correctly to my computer that prevents the transfers?
Even though I triple-checked each time.

If there's anyone that can suggest me a way of solving this problem I'd highly appreciate it.

Please and Thank you~!!

check whether your player is recognized and installed correctly ...
if u have windows media player 11 installed u may experience problems cuz the mtp-drivers, that came with wmp11, were(are) corrupted
one way to solve this is to downgrade to wmp10
otherwise u can try to switch the t9 to ums-mode

for further help go to

register and ask there ...

I hardly ever use WMP so I only have version 10.

I'm still having this problem,
but thank you for helping anyways.

First, remove that crappy software. I have the P2 and that software is annoying every time I connect the player.

Once you connect the player, a pop up balloon is suppose to pop up, bottom right, saying it found a new hardware and it's installing it. After that, go to My Computer and check if you can see the player. You should be able to open it up and see what's inside. You can also try using a different usb port.

Thanks for the help. I can't try it for the moment since I can't right now but I will once I get out all those plugs and CD's out at home.
btw, we can't drag and drop right? And anyone mind explaining what ums-mode is again?

You can enable UMS mode. If you go to the Anythingbutipod forums, you can upgrade to the korean firmware, which has it enabled. It has all the links and instructions and stuff in the forums.
honestly... you're not half as special as you think you are.
