I bought two 5kg Free Weights about two weeks ago and i've just been doing basic exercises my friend taught me to do. But I'm not sure if the exercises are that affective.
Do you guys know any creative exercises that i could do using these two weights?
And also:
how many set should i do a day?
How much time should i spend each day working out with weights?
how long does it take before i can see noticable results?

I think you should do 3 sets of 8-12 reps for each different exercise. I just started doing stuff w/ free weights also, I only have 10 lbers... lol! I wish I had heavier ones.
