All ulzangs seem to use a certain type of digital camera, that makes
the photo so professional looking. I can't really describe it, but
all of the photos look similar in this special lighting.

Does anyone have any ideas of what kind of cameras they use?

They use D-SLR cameras which are really expensive . They are atleast $800+

But D-SLR cameras... I honestly think it's really hard to take pictures at that sort of angle, with a D-SLR.

Basically, to sum up.
It's mainly the editing.
Uhlzzangs use Cyworld editor and Photoshop to touch up their photos. The angle they take pictures from also is important, however lighting, and having a decent digital camera is helpful. D-SLR's are pretty expensive, if you're just going to self-cam, I don't really think there's any point in spending that much.

^^^Only a few use D-SLRs. And taking photos with angles are hard to do with those.

Uh? They use regular cameras, they just tweak around with the photos on PS or cyworld editor. Some use cameras from their handphones.


Unless there's an "Ulzzhang Camera" actually out on the market.


And for the record, Ulzzhang photos don't look that professional. -___-

I don't think it has to do MUCH with whatever camera that they are using.

It relies HEAVILY on the photoshop.

They use cheap point and shoot cameras and then use photoshop to make it look "professional" (which I don't think it does personally). It's extremely difficult to take pictures of yourself with a DSLR and make it look decent without a lens with very short focal length.

Lol. They dont use a particular type of camera. some use D-SLRs. which are so expensive.
Then there are just the regular digital camera.
All of it is based on their editing by using programs such as photoshop.
It's really hard to take pictures at a certain angle with SLR cameras.

Yeah...they blur their pictures so much in photoshop. Why would that want nice clear pictures of themselves up close...it'll give away that some of them don't have flawless skin...lol

They probably just use "normal" digital camera with higher megapixels. The rest is just photoshop.

Just ask one of your friends who can withstand your vainness and take lots of pictures for you.

Then edit the pictures with photoshop and hopefully your friend who took the pictures never steal the original pictures and spread them on the net.

DSLR cameras...they take really nice photos....and its what photographers use...^^

Some ulzzangs use DSLR cameras, but not all of them.
In Korea, you can find certain DSLR cameras around $450.

By the way, using the same exact camera that a certain ulzzang use doesn't mean you'll have the exact same results too. It's not the equipment that makes the difference (and I'm not saying that you're not as good looking as an ulzzang or anything like that, it's just that there are a lot of factors that go into a picture and a camera is only a small portion of it).
