its so hard meeting people at my uni because everyone is so antisocial...or so it seems like that to me. but some of my friends said that most people are locked into groups from high school... :/ but i'm not going to say i'm super social either...happy.gif;; anyways, i'm just really curious about how many people go to the same school.

how are people at UT antisocial? UT has been ranked the #1 party school _AND_ the #1 gaming school, we're hardly antisocial whether your a partier or a nerd. Just go out, join some organizations, go clubbing? There's sooo much to do, xept it's cold these days and people in Texas fail when it's cold.

clubbing kinda sucks when you're under 21 cuz you can't buy drinks so you need a fake. lol...partying only works out when you know people that tell you about the parties. and besides i'm not at all into sports...

... are you like an engineering major or something? There's info about parties all the time, people pass stuff out in Jester and stuff. And by organizations, I don't necessarily mean sports, there's religious ones (AACM, ACTs, etc.), you can join humanitarian causes, maybe ones that are related to your major (IEEE, ABSA, AMSA, etc.). Hell, just talk to people on your floor if you want something to do...

nah, i'm a biochem major... T_T i think the problem is that i don't live on campus. :/ i don't really get to go near jester because my classes aren't anywhere near there. btw, i thought you were talking about sports when you said gaming. sweatingbullets.gif anyways, i guess joining an organization might be a good way to meet people. the only problem is that i'm socially retarded.

living on campus really helps, or at least close to campus. Where do you live? If you live at home, eh... try to find friends to hang out with on campus? If you live at Riverside, there's plenty to do just there, people host parties all the time. And biochem? Just find people to study with. Who cares you don't like studying with people? It's just for socializing anyways. If you're a freshman, you shouldn't be swamped with schoolwork anyways, so just have fun "studying" with people.

and haha, gaming as in, computer gaming... biggrin.gif
