10,000x agree with Ciara's "Get Up". One of the best dance songs America's put out in YEARS.
Rihanna's new album has some GEMS of dance songs. Especially "Push Up On Me", "Don't Stop The Music" and "Sell Me Candy".
Justin Timberlake is also really good for dance songs. "My Love" is awesome.
Koda Kumi has nice ones too. All I have is her 1st best of album, so I'm sure she's put out some more recent sounding, and probably equally good dance songs.
And Namie Amuro is ALWAYS perfect for dance songs. My current obsessions are her "Hide&Seek" and "Hello" from her latest album. AWESOME dance songs.
But it was put out in early 2006, so, yay. ^^

I certianly hope it's not older than 2006. I'd feel like the past 2 years went by too fast. (Being uninterested in of Ayumi's music for 2 years is already an impact on my psyche.) But it was put out in early 2006, so, yay. ^^

(all of Nami's songs are good dance songs)
DBSK/THSK/TVXQ (however you call them): Purple Line
As for American ones... lol gosh I'm not so current on American ones anymore...

How about Utada Hikaru - Simple And Clean Remix
Maybe from before 2006 though?
Same goes for the 'You Make Me Want To Be A Man' remixes, I guess.
One particular S&C remix is good though.

lol when i looked at the lists i though, erm.. wtf (BOA is korean
).
The term your looking for is club tracks, or southern hip hop, R&B.
Any thing produced by timbaland or swiss beatz should satisfy your needs. Neptunes do the trick as well, but their style is pretty broad.
