i wasnt sure where to post this topic,
but i have class this semester from 3:00 to 8:40... (hardly any break in between.)
and lately i've been getting indigestion and my stomach feeling really sick, because of food issues.

i eat breakfast around 11 and lunch around 1 or 2.
but i get SO HUNGRY during like 5 and 6 so i try a snack(chips/bread) and drink during this time.
and then i will usually eat dinner at 9~9:30ish when i come home from class.

my question is what could i eat in between my classes,
that would like fill me up and not make me feel indigested or just not hungry?
the problem it has to be like quick and on the go. so i cant bring a dinner...it's too messy
i was reading about protein granola bars as my snack? would this work? are they that filling?
it's been really big problem for me.. and ive even thinking of dropping class so i wouldnt have to face this problem, but i really dont want to cause i like these classes... ive never felt so sick like this before though in terms of digestion~

someone please help. im so desperate!!!

how could i re-arrange my eating schedule to make me not feel like im going to pass out after i come home from school?

I have the same problem with you!! I do have like an hour break in b/w but the neighborhood where my school is located is really bad, so I can't go out to eat. The cafe is for ppl who dorm, not commuter sad.gif
I tried those cereal bars, nuts, chocolate milk, chips or you can just bring a little bread with you and you can chew when you're extremely hungry.

i normally have a sandwich bag full of dark chocolate for emergency hunger issues. >.< that's if i run out of food.

i guess you can give granola bars a try? they're not as messy and can be quite filling. =)

or possibly buy protein drinks? [our campus has these protein drinks from Naked... quite disgusting but can really fill a stomach]

breakfast i usually eat a bowl of cereal and fruit.
and lunch changes, but it's always usually krn food... like rice with banchan,
or rice w/ chigae/stew.

what do you mean by 'changed your eating habits'?

bite your classmates, it's kinda salty but hey it might solve your problem. haha

Just take a granola bar and a drink. Something that doesn't smell and easy to clean up should do the trick. Granola bars, bagels, gogurt, fruit cups, muffins, and string cheese.

granola bars, protein bars, or those high energy bars might help. Fruit is good also, but I've noticed that they only make you feel full for a short amount of time. Chocolates are also good for filling up!

I am in the same boat as you...It's so sad that you have to run around campus with an empty stomach..T_T

If I'm desperate, I'll go reach for my chocolate snack...and if I have the $ I'll go grab like a samosa[sp?] at school..

OOh I know, last time I packed those Chinese rice cake thingy, it's easy to pack, not to mention it was fullfilling, and good

I'd come home and eat a small meal most of the time, then there would be dinner. School food doesn't exactly fill the stomach up. -.-

I have the same problem as you thus quarter so I've started bringing snacks everyday so I don't get hungry. Right now I have special k snack bites packets (90 cal), Curves chewy granola bars (100 cal), assorted nuts (their good for you but i don't over do b/c their fattening too), and today i bought some kashi granola parts and multigrain crackers. I basically have a few different things so i can change it up daily to not get bored. Sometimes I also buy cliff bars or luna bars (yummy & filling). On days I'm too lazy to get lunch, I bring a meal replacement bar or shake. Basically, the tip for staying full is to eat something high in fiber/protein.
