^ my sister owns it and she said that the flash is really noisy LOL. i havent heard it since shes on the other side of the globe but i think it must be really noisy then xD
i first wanted to buy that cam cause it looked so old school and the turqouise gives a nice touch with the huge flash LOLOL. but then i liked the retro holga. the multicolor one, and since its like more popular i thought ill give the holga a try first.

Wow, thanks for the help. I noticed that some expried films go back to the 1950s ohmy.gif Gosh, that's so cool! tongue.gif
I'm getting the LC-A, the results look great.
Just wondering, where do you develop your stuff? Or do you do it yourself?

you can develop your photos at local photo labs - but you could also do it yourself!! i've never tried developing photos by myself.. but i definitely wanna try one day

Also is there any good websites to go to or what stores sell this?

I received my LC-A+ just in time for my 17th birthday! It is the BESSTT <3
I just love it so much. wub.gif
Haven't gotten around to getting it developed though. :/

I'm going to try experimenting with the films I have now. I heard you can boil your film before using it and it'll have a really cool effect. So gonna try that out :3

Sweeet! Thanks for the help. biggrin.gif

EDIT::
!! IS the LC-A supposed to make a clicking sound when rewinding the film!?
I opened it to see if any film was being rewinded and TOTALLY FORGOT it's not supposed to be exposed to light.
Oh dear. Am I in trouble? sad.gif I can't believe I ruined my first roll of film.

^clicking sound?!?!?!
so what happened when you opened it?
were you near the end of winding the film?

//hope its okay :/ - but usually the rest of the film should be okay.. if you weren't under EXTREME light or anything.. since they're in the cartridge thing

^ yeah.. I finished taking 36 exposures so I was trying to rewind it.
There was a lot of pressure and it was clicking every second or so.
I opened the rear door to see what was up and it turned out that it did not rewind at all. So all the film was on the spool thing on the right.
I then started to try rewinding it with the rear door (nearly) closed but not locked onto the camera and it made no noise.
I really don't know why it was like that.. any suggestions why that would happen? Could it be that maybe the rewind button thing wasn't fully down? Or it was jammed? :/
I have no idea. But I hope it's okay..

^Um... If you open the rear door when the film is not rolled up, the film gets overexposed and all your pictures will be just white. Unless you opened the rear door in a darkroom -- then it's okay. How bright was it when you opened the rear door? Maybe you should get your camera looked at -- that clicking thing doesn't sound normal D:

^ Yeah, I know. I totally forgot the situation I was in.
Luckily it was fairly dim so not many of my photos were actually ruined. They were at the most yellow.
But yeah. The clicking sounds a bit suspicious. I'll have a look after I finish my second roll.

choosing a lomo IS hard! haha every time I go on their website, I just wanna buy everything!
hm. the one difference I can think of off the top of my head about the fisheye & fisheye 2 is that the viewfinder on the fisheye is pretty useless whereas you can actually see through the the viewfinder on the fisheye 2 to see what kind of image you might be getting. & the fisheye 2 also has a multiple exposure function... more shots in one frame = more funky shots.

hope that helped a bit.

i love lomo pics ^^ ive got a holga/polga, golden half and a mini 110 camera smile.gif
120 films more expensive to process in shops, so if you can process yourself you save money.

i really want a fish eye next. how similar is the diana to the holga?

RHAINE, i love collecting them too smile.gif

slide film, it shows what the image is like in positive, so you would show it on a projector, where as regular film its in negative and you need to print the image to get it the right way round!

yes, you can use 35 mm film in a Diana+ but you can't just pop the film in there. You will need some sponge/foam like material that can hold the film on one side.. and also have to cover the window with black tape.
You'll get some really cool shots as your photos will have a "film edge".
Here's a really really neat guide from the Holga's microsite, which can also be done on the Diana+ camera smile.gif
Just skip step A.

aiteeee.. so it's a really nice effect
