d0ts im sure it works with the holga 120. just keep count of the clicks.
oh man!there are so many accessories i want for my holga. actually i need to buy some films too
has anyone tried these modifications?
http://microsites.lomography.com/holga/mod.../the-paper-mask
i reALLY want to try the pinhole method
i took some pictures with the polaroid today and something wierd happened. one of my picture was exposed twice. at first i thought it was because i opened the cartidge, but i realized the first exposure was no where near my location. and i remebered the last time i took a picture with my polaroid the film didnt come out so i thought i ran out of film, but i guess it was just stuck in there and i happened to take another picture with it and it got doubly exposed!!
hahaha this is why i love film photography!!

hahaha this is why i love film photography!!
I like how the accidents are always a PLUS
Seems to be that I'm more satisfied with imperfect shots than a nice, clear picture of something. I'm sure lots of other people feel the same way!
It's great how Lomography is getting a lot of exposure now. A few years back when I was using the Fisheye and L-CA, people thought I was going bananas with a toy camera that looked ultimately worthless.. (psh.. whatever, go shoot with your 16.7 megapixel camera - i really don't care).
A recent roll of film that I've been pretty happy about

^was totally not expecting my roll of film to turn out like this.. haha (xpro sensia III)

^(xpro velvia 100F)
Sooo... it's not very popular right now but I can see keychain cameras gaining the interests of Lomographers.
I'm using the Vistaquest VQ1015 and I LOVE IT!
It's like digital lomography!
Some that I've taken

Straight from the camera with no editting! look at the awesome vignettes! Perfect little camera for those who are too impatient with film but still want that OOMF of Lomography.
Here's a picture of the camera:

It's half the size of a credit card
(sorry for taking up so much space -.-)

the thing that happened to your polaroid is freaking cool yo! never seen a double exposed polaroid before. sounds really interesting!
andy90: HEY! a fellow singaporean? i'm pretty sure the people here will say "go get one!" after all, it is the lomography thread. lol. yeah, i got a film camera because i researched quite a lot on it, and stared [in awe and admiration] at a million photos before i bought it. love how those pictures turn out so different from normal digital images. i mean, yeah, there's photoshop. but the anticipation from getting your roll developed and how the pictures turn out is the best part of it all imo. it gets you all excited. haha. and it's like you have to imagine a little before you take a shot, like the composition of the shot etc. i like that "imagining" part too. oh, and sometimes you get accidental shots. which might be pleasant surprises. lol. like groovyharvy's accidental double exposure with the polaroid. i think that's what makes lomography so enjoyable. so go get one [if you have the money! it will be quite an expensive hobby if you like lomography].
hmm, where to get lomo cameras in sg? there's all the 1) popular photolabs that do the processing and scanning of films. they sell lomo cams too. like triple D at burlington square [bugis area], ruby and cathay photolabs at peninsula plaza or shopping centre, i can't remember which one. but both the plaza and the centre are near each other. in 2) far east shopping centre, there's this cool shop called "the corner shop" [i think]. they sell lomo cams too. and there's also this shop called 3) "loft" in haji lane. at 4) liang seah street, there's this shop called "objectifs", they even rent out darkrooms for people who wanna develop their own photos! and they conduct outings and workshops occasionally too. there was this diana F+ exploration workshop, sounds cool. but i didn't wannna go because i will feel awkward. not the very sociable kinda person. anw, check out the website here: http://www.objectifs.com.sg/
or u can always buy it online:
http://khloee.livejournal.com/
http://8storeytree.com/store/index.php?osC...elbj3qj16vf8s91
http://lomotion.20.forumer.com/index.php?s...1221ed536daac68 << sg forum. loads of information and pictures. they have the addresses and the price lists of the photolabs around singapore. u can buy lomo cams under the buy/sell section!
diana F+? hmm, if you are really interested, i think u can just get it. but it's best that you research about the functions etc of the diana F+ i think. after that, if you get it, just enjoy playing with it! i really like my diana F+ though. haha. oh but it's pretty expensive compared to the holga, though there's like a lot more accessories for the diana F+. of course, it will mean more money needed. lol.
sorry for the very lousy structure in my reply. lol.
miiloverx2: WOW UBER NICE SHOTS. i didn't really like red shots before, but looking at your shots make me wanna get that film! haha! really nice really nice! oh i didn't know the vistaquest is like a keychain! COOL! and really really really nice vignettes. i like the faint sun rays in the left one. nice! i LOVE vignettes. oh yeah! there's these small little lomo cameras called ikimono [designed by superheadz] also, and they use 110 film. but idk if they are keychains too? sounds really cool. i saw them in real life, they look really TINY.

I got mine online. I was lucky that time it was having sale.
I love slide too! I always process slide only.. cause I've no money to print or scan it. lol. The negtive itself is pretty.
I wanna buy those camera (forget the name) that uses 4x5 trans. Very pretty but expensive. =(

@,astrolicious + d0ts, thanks! I'm tempted to buy that backing for the Diana, I forgot what it was called. With the holes. It is really gorgeous, and the light leaks (the red parts) look great in that format. I want to paint my Diana a different color! Like tape it off and spray it white or something. One of my friends pimped hers out with cellphone jewels and hello kitty stuff. She's into that [:
I bought mine online straight from the lomography store. I would recommend to just look at the pictures produced from the camera on flickr and such and purchase a style that you like. I think Diana+'s are a bit overhyped and thus pricey. The LC-A is a sweet automatic camera too. But pricey too for what it is. Nonetheless, it's what you make of the price anyways and they get you effects other cameras don't!
@miiloverx2- The cross processing looks really great! I'm never too successful with that

Ooh, I think this was actually cross processed with Velvia 100. Yum.

^ u're gonna paint your diana?! haha, sounds fun! i've seen a lot of nicely customized diana+s, holgas, and the blackbird fly! look: http://www.ndroo.com/blog/?p=98 so niceeeeeeeeeeeee. i love the woodpecker, fly [for the bbf] and the lego holga!! i wanna customize mine too. but i do not have the artistic ability. lol. oh at that same website, the blogger provides some really cool tutorials on stuff like DIY-ing your own redscale film etc. loads of nice stuff.

I've got a massive load of film that I got from Tokyo and I just realized that more than half of them are expiring this Summer. I LOVE EXPIRED FILM. So I'm going to slowly use them.. And put some in storage and wait for them to go expired even more
Yeaa the 110 is fun too! But it's so expensive..film + developing. pshh..
Higgs - thanks!! I used my beloved LC-A+! I am a faithful LC-A+ user and I bring it EVERYWHERE with me.
I got my Vistaquest from Yahoo auction HK but they have a website > digitalandco
Keychain cameras are pretty pricey.. heck - LOMOGRAPHY IS TOO PRICEY. BAH
and I agree with you about the Diana+ being a bit overhyped... Ever since it came out, they've been trying to promote the Diana+ and spitting out all these 'editions' which aren't any different from the original one besides the colour and designs. (I like your suggesting for painting the Diana+ .. I want to do that too!)
LC-A+ is quite the money eater.. but I think it deserves to be so pricey. LC-A IS the icon of Lomography and it's not like any of the other plastic camera toys. I actually can't even imagine what I'd do if I lose this baby. It's been through A LOT with me
lemme go search up on ideas to customize my cameras buaha
wow this looks cool! little pouches that look like cameras!! (singaporean too!!) http://www.plushism.blogspot.com

Will normal processed film give you that nice vignetting and saturated effect?
I just ordered a diana f+ that comes with 10 rolls of b&w film. i think i might end up selling a few since i want to try out color film (been shooting black and white for the whole year x_x)
+edted
oops sorry i meant if shooting 35mm film with a diana

As for "saturated effect", that depends on the film, i.e. the type and how it's made.

d0ts: i would love to get a fisheye lense! they look so cool. i really want a cable release adapter so i can take long exposure shots.
Higgs: if d0ts is talking about developing 35mm with sprockets, the reason they cost more is because when you develope 35mm theyll process only the middle part and you need like this special scanner to scan the entire film with the sprockets. haha sorry im so bad at explaining things but you need like a negative scanner to scan the film. i think if you want alot of "sprocket" pics its alot cheaper to buy the scanner. i really want one
i took 5 rolls of 35mm which i havent developed.. but i cant wait for the results
by the way Justalilodreamer regular stores like walmart/walgreen/riteaid or where ever wont have slide films. you can wither find them at a professional photo lab or just buy them online http://shop.lomography.com/shop/ this place might be alittle cheaper then ebay. also check out amazon.
has anyone tried polaroid tranfer?

yeah fisheye is very cool with the distortions. haha! oh, i thought that without the cable release thingy, you can take long exposure shots too? just have to hold down the shutter release button for a longer time. oh! the cable release thingy makes it so much easier though. haha. and the cable release thingy allows us to take pics of ourselves right? uhh, as in like taking a pic with 2 persons in it [including the photographer himself].
what's polaroid transfer? lol. sorry if it's a stupid question.
and do post some pics once you've developed the photos! I WANNA SEEEEEEEE! LOL.
