THe whole right side is... completely destroyed. the tire is blown out and its probably going to take at least 5000 dollars to fix
The thing is though, the guy didn't have a license. I talked to several policemen however afterwards (I was freakin out an didn't call the cops because I didn't call the cops before when I got in to another crash and things worked out fine) and they said it wouldn't realy matter . I think they are going to say another guy was driving or something, I'm not sure.

PS if you live in LA you know it was raining for several days... so i couldn't see too well..sigh. N/M what I said about whose fault it was because now the insurance thing is underway.

ill post pictures and let you guys assess the damage later. :/

I wonder if having "uninsured drivers" on your policy also covers "unlicensed drivers" when you get into an accident with them. If not, it's time to go out and dig the ol' Louisville slugger out of the closet...

I called my insurance company but THEY AREN'T PICKING UP! Its idiotic! (it's AAA insurance too so I don't know whats going on) i guess they are having lots of accidents right now or something.

I'm not completely sure at the moment but it seems i didn't yield on a left turn so a car that was coming hit me when I made a left turn. But the thing is, i thought i had a left arrow. (i was freaking out at the time so i didn't even think about this because my bro was like "how did you not see this car coming?" I thought I had a left arrow.) Does anybody live in LA and know whether or not Olympic and Vermont (coming from Hoover) have a left turn arrow? because my memory might be fuzzy at the moment. Gahhh stupid rain.

^i have liability, which means insurance only pays for the opposite persons car. And we bought it from a friend so we actually bought the car really cheap.

I should have called the cops but because of the situation i thought i was at fault at the time and i had a company with me so i didnt want to make him wait extra... And last time i got into an accident i didnt call the cops and it still worked out fine... yea i wish i called the cops but what can i do now?

Glad you're alright and made it out in one piece. My best mate however was very unlucky, He modded his Honda civic up and a month later had an accident, he slid on black ice, lost control and slid across the otherside onto on-coming traffic and a van smashed on his side. Still in hospital as we speak but recovering!

Even if the driver is uninsured the insurance company will still have to pay out, well thats the UK policy dont know about you guys. Good luck sorting it out though.

I just still don't know whose fault it exactly is because of my memory. I just remember passenger going "how did you not see that?" which made me think it was my mistake. But I really think there was a green arrow there! (of course I need actually figure out if vermont and olympic has a green arrow or not) Once I figure this out I might call their insurance.
