Are You Still Living.. in the country you were born?

I got this idea to make this thread when we're
discussing about this in class [Social Studies], and
we were asked to recite about things like this..

Are you still living in the country you were
born or have you moved? smile.gif

And, if you left your home-country when you
weren't that young already.. did you had culture
shock?

As for me, born in Philippines but i'm in Canada.
no culture shock for me though.
Her heart is destroyed all because of one boy. She's crashing, falling, breaking, calling. Yet there is no one there to save her.

Wow all aussies have replied so far lol.

Yeah i've moved from where i was born.
but this is my 10th year in Australia..
so i've been here for while.

But my mum always tells me that when we moved here,
we kept asking where all the kids in the neighborhood were..
coz here its soo damn quiet! no kids in the streets playing..
so i guess that was culture shock?
and it was really clean too..

moved to aus when iwas younger
been here for half of my primarys chool+all of my highschool life hehe

Born in Brunei and apparently here now. I've lived in London for 3 years though. This was 6 years ago and I went to study in Malaysia for 3 years as well. I've only recently started living in Brunei again but this will last till september? I'm going to study in London again by the end of this year. It was a culture shock last time cos I spent 14 years in Brunei and suddenly I moved across the continent all the way to Europe. It took awhile to adjust but I did just fine..

yep still living in the country i was born. it's quite good, i hate my city but it's a nice country. i'd probably move interstate cause my city is too boring.

Never really experienced a culture shock, it was more of a shock of how damn boring the US was... and it still is sleep.gif

Yep, born in the UK and still here. I love the UK and where I live and all but if I had the money to move away I would. I've been here for 18 years and fancy a change of scenery lol
