i have a similar event like that happening. i used to go to this church in gardena and i guess one of the members of my church was holding a wedding. i was real young at that time but solid and president of JYP came to this wedding. if only i was older!!!

Just like how Drunken Tiger is credited for bringing Hip hop to Korea and H.O.T is credited for starting the whole boyband craze.
Kim Jo Han and his group Solid is credited for being the godfathers/pioneers of Korean R&B. This guy is a LEGEND!

Kim Jo Han rose to fame in the early to mid 90's as the lead singer to the r&b group Solid. Solid was a part of the forefront in the formation of what is now popular Korean music. Since their disbandment in 1996, Kim Jo Han has gone unto producing, writing for other musicians, and serving as an A&R. He had a part in the formation of the r&b group Voice although they had little success. Kim Jo Han has managed to remain very active in the Korean music industry behind the scenes and by participating in many other artists' albums. He has also returned as a solo artist, releasing 4 albums, the most recent entitled Me, Myself, My Music in 2005. He also co-headlined a concert along with Fly to the Sky which later produced a live concert album.
