This is the official sketches of Mitsubishi’s forthcoming Lancer Sportback hatch. It is scheduled to unveil in Geneva auto show which will be held on March. A Ralliart Model is expected to be the rival of the Subaru WRX. Mitsubishi will put a 260 horsepower engine and the all-wheel drive system from the Evolution IX on the Lancer Sportback Ralliart.

It's not going to have 260 hp. That would be a tad too close to the evo in terms of power and may infringe on evo sales.

it's more likely to have the 235-240 hp numbers that the ralliart sedan will have

lol, they realize that the RWD hatches are old so AWD hatches are in. Only current RWD Hatch is Lexus IS300.

more or less like a wagon was never brought up in the automotive world about the wagon is300. wagon was part of its model name (Wagon sports cross) so i dont see how anyone would call it a hatchback/hatches

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

:\ I hope thats a joke, in my opinion i think that these hatches these days don`t look that good. The WRX hatch doesn`t look good and strays away from the original looks. The Lancer hatch looks like a RX350 from the back and the front looks just about the same. It seems to me that both Subaru and Mitsubishi want to compete very closeley even if that means they have to go to a hatcback look. The 135 doesn`t really appeal to me, what`s the specs on it? i can`t search it up cause im in class right now. Doesn`t seems $35,675 matches the price, but its a BMW.

More of a wagon now that i look at it.

looks are objective but it has the same twin turbo motor from the 335. if the appearance doesnt appeal to you, i bet its performance will.

they didn't have this car at the toronto autoshow boo....and they didn't let me sit in the evos too...grrr, and guess what? The evo doesnt say E V O L U T I O N on the trunk no more...the text is located in the bottom right hand corner of the trunk in uber small font. sigh...
