i used about 3/4 of ACV and used cotton pads. I use to the cotton pads to absorb the ACV and rub it in the scalp. The only thing that i can't stand is the smell, but its really worth it once you wash it off. You pretty much leave it on for 15 minutes and then shampoo/conditioner.
I don't know how much i use it per week so i'll be asking my friend's dad about it.
if someone posted this then it can be closed heheh ^^

Do not put pure ACV on your hair because it's too harsh and drying (but some said it made their hair greasy). You should mix a tablespoon with a LOT of water and then rinse it out well. You don't need to keep it on for 15 minutes because it works straight away. It balances the PH or something.
I do this. I hang around long hair and natural hair forums and sites and was told to try it there.
I do it this way:
1) shampoo
2) ACV rinse
3) conditioner (because the ACV can be drying)

EDIT I also forgot to ask - if you color your hair, would the ACV strip the dye from your hair?

Personally I pour a tablespoon of ACV in a big bowl and then fill it up to the top with water. After I shampoo and rinse I pour the bowl of ACV+water over my head. Then I rinse again to get it out. Then condition.
I do this around once a week. Sometimes twice.
I don't know about stripping colour, but I heard it makes blondes darker?
ACV helps to clarify, detangle, balance hair's pH level and seals the cuticles.
