when i try to workout, i workout for about a week or two straight and then stop for about a month or two and try to get back
i think this is such a bad habit
because i really get no results from doing this
at least nothing significant enough
haha i actually gained weight now xD
in two years i gained 20 pounds haha
well then again i'm not really trying to lose weight
i just want to get stronger and get cut
but yeah its hard trying to stick with it
oh and i want to be able to jump higher
so if you have any advice into making my legs stronger that would helpful
thanks

To improve jumping (i actually wanted to do this.. but i gave up lol so i stuck to my strengths)
*skipping
*squats
*jumping squats (it's without weights.. basically you're standing straight with your feet shoulder width apart and then you crouch down into a squat position and then jump, and repeat)
*burpees (get into push up position, bring your legs into your chest as if tucking them in and then jump up; googling it might help... lol i don't make much sense)
*lunges (with weights)
*calve raises (with weights)
btw... jumping is actually in the ass...lol
people say abdominal exercises help too.. giving that extra push? i'm not too sure.. never was a jumper lol
but ya.. hope that helped

i just do lol, i usually think about it everyday and when im gonna start and i think about the junkfood i eat so it makes me kinda wanna cancel things out lol
and since i'm seeing results i have to stick with it cause don't wanna lose it U _ U
but my workout mostly consists of cardio and some freeweights though at home so yeah
i dont wanna waste money on a gym membership cause i have better things to spend money on

If one of us drops doing the schedual than we have to still pay for the other person ^^. It motivates us to keep trying.
So maybe you can do something similar.

I stay devoted by:
- enjoying what I do
- understanding what I am doing and how it effects me
- changing my routine periodically
- blasting music that I enjoy and that gives me motivation
- keeping a positive attitude
i just want to get stronger and get cut
You want to be "cut". Awesome! Yet, you mentioned that you are not trying to lose weight. Well, this cannot be. In order to be(come) "cut" you must lose weight; to be politically correct, you have to reduce body fat.
To jumper high, you must practice jumping. Try taking up plyometric training.
Pistols are an excellent way to improve the strength of your legs as well as increasing the power of your vertical jump.
Keep at it! Train hard! Strive on!

Anyway, I like to run down there everyday to get myself a Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia pint.
And I'd have to obviously run back home before it melts on me.
That's pretty much how I'm assured of getting my cardio in.
Into the last good bite I'll ever know

I know for me it would be stupid to attempt a big workout after I have 8 hours of clinical, I would pretty much hurt myself at that point.
In the mornings I jump rope before I get ready for school
When I get home I try to do at least one run on the treadmill
And I also use turbojam, it's fun so it's not hard to get myself to do.
I like to be flexible with my workout because then I won't feel like it's something I have to do as opposed to something I want to do.
For jumping, perhaps jump rope, squats, and maybe running up & down stairs?

well, i take a nap after swim practice. so when i wake up, i'm energized for the next 5-6 hours.
so at night, after my work's all done and everyone's asleep, i run through some exercises. 1am is a boring time, and i sure could use nicer abs.
