Well first off, I have braces. And today, I discovered that two of them were wiggling around..along with the wire, but only in that area. I think I was biting down on a piece of ham that had some strange bone in there or something. Does it cost a lot to get them replaced? :l

You mean the bracket broke off? And the "thing"can slide up and down your wire?
Well depends of your plan with your dentist, my plan was 7 grand and no matter how many times i break it, it was free to be replaced.
But getting the bracket back on was a pain in the ass, it took 2 appointments for putting on 1. Because they had no "time".

if it breaks off go back to the dentist he will stick it back on.

i dont think it should cost anything to get them fixed because its free for me to get such a simple thing fixed at the orthodontist.

I think the wire gets replaced everytime you visit the orthodontist anyway so you'll get that area tightened.

If it's a little loose on one side; I doubt you will need to replace the whole thing.

Replacements are costly though, same price as a new set.. (?)

um.... i doubt theyll make u pay.
i was eating and it came off after i was biting on something hard
i called the braces place and they replaced it
ur brackets falling off can be a big problem and thats why most braces places do those rush in appointment
so give them a call if it falls off
