i got my hair chemically straightened at a crap place - Biggest Mistake! =( and now my hair is breaking off, at first it was heaps and now i have these prickly short ends at the top of my head because a whole chunk broke off. and Also i think the chemical changed the PH of my scalp, i started to get really bad dandruff =*( so now my hair is pretty damaged and ruined. i had to use the head and shoulder shampoo for anti dandruff and anti breakage (some orange one) anyway i was thinking should i be washing my hair daily if it keeps breaking off or should i wash it like in every 2 days?

I'd imagine you'd have to do the opposite as your hair is probably really dry and damaged from the chemicals and your hair needs natural moisture. Washing hair more often dries it out even more so I'd suggest wash it every second day but I'm not an expert. I would get a shampoo and conditioner that's for damaged or over processed hair. Maybe even find a leave in conditioner that you don't have to wash out.

Yeah I wouldn't suggest washing your hair that often...
and like ^ said, you should probably get some hair treatment.
They say Extra Virgin Olive Oil works great as a moisturizing hair treatment.

If your hair gets oily, maybe you should invest in some of those .. powder-shampoos or those.. rub-in-shampoos (not sure what im talking about, dry shampoos???) o__O
or something. o__o
But I don't know about washing it everyday =[
mine is super damaged, but i NEED to wash it everyday.

It'll take a long time for your hair to get back to normal, you'll probably have to wait for it to have grown out for it to be completely nice again.
Like someone said, shampooing less often will be better as your hair is dry and damaged. Also, buy a deep treatment conditioner (the kind you leave on for like 20 minutes at a time) and use it once a week on top of normal shampoo and conditioner use.

Ahh, oh my goodness
Cut back on the shampooing, like everyone said.
Try looking for deep-hydrating but gentle leave-in conditioners.
You can't really undo the damage already done to it but you can prevent it from getting worse.
Try and not to use harsh chemicals in your hair or high heat either.
Good luck!!
