it literally means "Fresh cream."

although i know for korean cakes, the frosting which they call "saeng cream" is of whipped cream consistency.

if its for the frosting and layers... its probably whipped cream.
if its actually going to be incorporated into the dough or something like that, I'd go for the liquid cream.

i know, im no help. hahaha~ T.T

i suggest getting a small carton of heavy cream from your local grocer and putting it into a bowl and whisking it until it becomes a thick consistency. then add some rum, (or vanilla) and some powdered sugar. then adjust taste...

kinda like whipped cream but not really.

=) hope i helped!

(not exactly healthy, but DAMN good.)

It's sort of like whipped cream, but a little thicker and smoother. I think it's cooked milk and butter.

Anyone know how to make it?

I think it's literally whipped cream, but there's a slight difference.

It IS whipped cream, just at a higher fat content. In North America, you can only get up to around 35% fat content for creams, but in Asia, they have creams at least 38% and higher. The higher it is, the more stable it is to use for cakes. The ones in North America (up to 35%) aren't as stable for making cakes, so you can usually use agar agar to give it more stability. That way it won't melt on you as fast when left out in room temperature.

Ssaeng cream is basically just higher fat content cream whipped with some flavoured liqueur and sugar.
