anybody ever had umaibou ? i think i had it before but maybe something like a thai version or variation.

yummmyyy! but they are so crumbie and i dont really like crumbie foods.
i see it everytime i go to chinatown.. i live in boston, mass.
my mom use to buy boxes of them. still can remember the taste!!

OMG!!!!!!! what a coincedence!!! lol what perfect timing!!!!!! My boyfriend's grandma just brought some from Hong Kong! It was my first time seeing those things...and omgzzzz Its Sooooooooo gooD!!!!!!! When i go back to HK ima buy lots and lots!

I had these before, not the exact same thing but similar. They are good but some of them are kind of greasy.

@candydive - have you checked out the asian markets? which part of philly are you in? North or South?

I don't remember exact store but here are some they might have it - Spring Garden Market, H Mart in Upper Darby (its korean but they might have it) This viet/ chinese market in south philly...6th street. (this one is bigger and does in ways have more varieties.) Hope this helps and sometimes its packaged different so read the label to check.

Good luck and if you find it you can tell me too since I don't remember where either. Sorry

I remember those!! In an episode, Box was like, we can use it as a stakeee! We can make it pointy and stab him! LOL then he frantically ate part of it and went crazy since it didn't work.

They don't sell those stuff where i live.
