I need a program that can rip from DVDs. I have one of those cameras that records as DVD on the mini discs and I've been trying to rip the stuff preferably in avi or mpge format onto my computer so I can edit the video and add effects and then burn the edited version as a DVD again. But none of the programs that I have that burn DVDs rip DVDs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did your camera come with any software?
Eh either way, you should be able to copy the .VOB files off the disks without any ripping tools because they were recordings you made. If they do give you problems, you can get DVD Decryptor or DVD Shrink. Both will let you copy the files out and you will get .vob files. If you go to www.vcdhelp.com they have great guides there.
BUT I think you may be able to import those .vob files to many of the video editor programs out there.
