i've been meaning to buy myself a pair of headphones
but i dont want to end up buying a pair thats not worth my money

soo i just want to know...
what should you be looking for when buying headphones
i'll mainly use them to listen to my mp3

and was wondering if these were a good pair...
and it is in my pricing range

I have the basic iPod earphones and a few weeks ago I bought a pair of white Skullcandy Ti's. The Skullcandy's are alright. I pretty much bought them because they looked cool. They're really good for blocking out a decent amount of sound though, and that's a major plus for me.

I bought those ones for the iPod nano which goes around your neck for like $60 AUD. THEN THEY FREAKING STOP WORKING. So now I'm using the orginal iPod ones .

Im considering getting either Audio Technica EM7s or ES7s, does anyone have either of these and what do you think of them? I'm particularly interested in how the EM7s are.

the EM7s have a metal housing and are clip on ear headphones and seem more portable than the ES7s which are double the weight and a bit more bulky..

You would be wrong in thinking the EM7s are more popular than the ES7s I wouldn't be surprised if the ES7s sounded better than the EM7s, in general clip ons don't sound as good as headphones due restriction of driver size/weight and what not. Ask Marcus from headphonic on what he thinks of both, I know that hes not particularly fond of the ES7s
