I thought I would just create this topic since there is so much of it in this world & also thanks to this one girl who send me a message on soompi..
saying..
"if your twenty, grow up.
you're a girl? then act liek one.
transexuals aren't needed in life.
you're a real embarassment to koreans, don't do what you're doing.
you're like a lot older than me, and i actually seem more mature
compared to what you think you are.
grow up, okay." -sharooxfoo
To reply to that,
Just cause I was born as a girl dosent mean my gender is a girl. Sex is what between your legs. Gender is whats between your head.
Second of all, Im not a transexual. Get your fact straight.
And as a 'embarrassment' to the koreans by what I'm doing, its my life not yours.
And yes, Im older than you, but by not being my sex, how does that make me more immature then I already am?
and grow up? Why dont you grow up by researching the things you just wrote to me.
Now to speak whats on my mind,
I hate the fact how people think others "choose" to be what they are. That boys and girls should follow a specific gender role when we are born a certain gender.
Did you know that 1 out of 4,500 kids are INTER-SEXED? Meaning they were born with boy and girl bodyparts? They did not CHOOSE to be born that way, imagine the hardship they have to go through as they grow up because they don't even know where they belong.
As for me, there are other koreans out there who are exactly like me. Even sometimes, your closest korean friend could turn out NOT to be straight and you wont know it, they just wont tell you because in our culture its hard for us to even expose ourselves without getting beaten or verbally abused.
I've come out to my mother, and yes she didn't accept it and shes very traditional. And it stresses me everyday to explain to her how I came to be. I have struggled my sexuality in middle school for 3 years to be straight because THE BIBLE said so. OR THE PASTOR said so. I tried to change the way I think and I prayed.. thinking if I choose this.. then why the hell its not working when I choose to be straight. My mission failed. So I attempted suicide numerous of times. I failed. As life went on, I met other Korean oppas and nunas like me, who has suffered alot like i did, and after that I finally accepted myself and my depression went away.
I don't really deal with homophobia all that much because alot of people do accept me. Everyone practically, even my own blood-flesh brother loves me the way I am. And I thank him for that.
But people who loves to bash and talk nasty and say things as "you are immature" just because of the way I am..well seriously. Are you normal? What is normal?
Bash me all you want but there is celebrity's out there in korea who are like me as well.
Even Bihyul, you got to admit, SHES a hot korean ulzzang boy. *cough*
So tell me what do you guys think of this issue?

I don't want to seem like bashing her or anything but seriously it's not anyone’s fault for being transsexual, either they were born like that or whether they gotten surgery or whatever it may be, they're still human. Like us, like every one of us. I remember seeing a Thai movie about how this guy wanted to be a girl and did what he loved (boxing) to earn the money for surgery. And in the end he had to give up boxing if he wanted to be a girl or something like that. I forgot it was like two years ago but at first when I started watching it I was wondering why he wanted to be a girl but when the movie was ending, I cried. I understood why, I mean seriously some people just can’t accept the fact that some people are like this originally. Weather or not if they wanted to be like this, they're still human. They are needed in life, this is how life is. Some people just can't accept that fact and its bulls.hit.
And to the OP, this is what I think; there’s nothing wrong for being who one is, I hate the fact that some people judge others because of their ways. Weather they are bi, gay, lesbian, striate, transgender, inter-sexed whatever they are, they are still humans and shouldn't be looked down or be looked differently because of that.
But truly speaking I think you’re really brave and I admire you for that.
Why are people viewing and not posting?!

you know what's not needed in life?
haters and other ignorant jerks.
you, MRLEE-- you're fine. there are tons of people just like you. Mostly every time something about Harisu comes up (just using her as example), I have to post, because people do say some nasty things--most epecially calling her an it. Disgusting.
there is more to gender than many people think---having a uterus doesn't make you female, just like having testes doesn't make you male. The brain controls everything, and sometimes things aren't as clear-cut as society would like. There's always questions of jokes about giys having nipples. -___- Everyone starts out with them--and then a few weeks down the line when you're developing--your body starts to develop as male or female, depending on the chromosomes and amounts of testosterone or estrogen that are there...men do have estrogen, just like women have testosterone.
There are all kinds of people in this world, whether others like it or not--everyone is not always *male* or *female*. deal with it.
