I am seriously offended by that comment. I am being dead serious about this topic ("moth ball odor"). People were giving me input and trying to help me out in that thread. I didn't see anyone getting upset by it, nor did the content of my thread insult anyone.

By the way, there was this Asian comedian on Kollaboration that stated "Yall (Chinese) smell like moth balls". So it CANNOT just be ME experiencing this. I actually laughed when he said that cuz from my experience it's true. I'm assuming it is just from regular moth balls??

Clearly you don't understand that offensive concepts of stereotyping. Obviously stereotypes are not true; by asking the validity of one when clearly it is not true, there is a risk of offending those who may take it more deeply than others.

It is in the moderator's discretion to determine the appropriateness of a topic. Aziraphale held valid grounds in her role as a moderator to close the topic.
