2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse Revealed

Mitsubishi has revealed their new revamped 2009 Eclipse and Eclipse Spyder. The Eclipse GT boasts a 3.8 liter V6 engine that generates 265 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and mated with a six-speed manual or Sportronic 5-speed gearbox. All of the Eclipse models will come with standard four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution, but the GT gets larger ventilated rear discs. Other features include standard stability control, HID headlamps and a large rear spoiler.

That is actually the new Mitsubishi Eclipse EVO. It is just a little kit to make the Eclipse more like a Lancer Evo.

this thing better be converted to rwd or have awd option otherwise i cant imagine what the tires are going thru. understeer/torque steer will probably become an issue. or idk maybe they did alot to the chassis and made it so it could handle its power beter.

This looks very similiar to the Mitsubishi Ralli-art Eclipse concept that they showed before

I wanna see how those HIDs perform...hehehe...Looks pretty cool though, I'm a fan. It boast a lot of power and thats what it needs.

i think it's still ugly. i never liked how there is a huge glass window, then the side mirror, then the door glass window, and then the rear quarter glass window... i also miss the gst/gsx models. =)

xxJaeJoongSarangxx is this fashion forward awesome kid who doesn't care what other people think on her. OMGosh, it copied the GT-R? Does it come with rotary pistons?

It says 6 speed manual or "5 speed" auto... probably the same CVT with 5 predefined ratios for paddle shifting. Give people infinite ratios and they pay extra to have 5 :/
