He mostly gives travel deals from Atlanta, but you'll see it's usually on the major airlines, so just monitor the airline prices and see when it gets cheap.  Travel deals can be offered at any time, and usually last for a few days at most, so you gotta act fast when a good deal comes along.

Like right now he's showing from Atlanta to Hong Kong on Northwest = $508.  Beijing = $578, Shanghai = $548, Singpore = $690.  Those are really good prices, and if you can't find comparable prices from your local airport, you might see if you can get an AirTran or other discount airline to get your to an airport with a better deal, if the math of such an extra trip works out for you.

I think you have to have lots of time and real good/quick on finding the the best deals especially overseas traveling. The best is maybe going to travel agent. But the prices suggested by marrymehyori sounds real good!!!
