I'm having a difficult time downloading the pictures from my camera to my PC. When the usb cable is connected to the camera, it has trouble detecting the images; the camera screen becomes black and it says, "No images." When it's disconnected, all the images on the memory card are still on the camera.

I don't know what's wrong. And I'm annoyed. And agitated. And UGH. tongue2.gif

SO, I'm pretty certain that nothing is wrong with my memory card; I've directly downloaded pictures from my memory card to other computers and it has been fine, but I'm unable to download pictures using the usb. Is something wrong with the camera? Does it have to be on an exact setting to download images?

I'm technology illiterate. Everything I touch, breaks. Wah.

Help? Maybe yes? Maybe no?

I had such a problem too.
I realised the problem lies in the fact that the sd card reader is not compatible with my computer.
Not sure if this is the case for you.
Good luck with it =))

Have you tried using a card reader instead of directly connecting your camera to the computer?

if you ever get the pictures out with for example a card reader, format the card with your camera. Just in case of corruption

Ya it will, reason she suggested it is to make sure the sd card is formatted and not damaged. And then you start using the card.

But as for the question the poster asked. I've never ran into that problem, try googling for a solution. Have you tried a card reader? Just read the card?
