So its grad photos time at my school and I'm the type of person who don't like getting their pictures taken. However, I decided to do it since its my last year. But our school randomly decided to end it EARLY >>; They decided to end it this Wed when it was suppose to be next week. And they only told us this morning. The thing is that they post up the sign up sheet the day before therefore the stupid me decided to sign up for a time for Wed on Tues but when I went with my friend today after school, THE LISTS WERE FULL!!!!!! Stupid secretar decided to post it up early >>; So the ppl who wants to still take grad photos (which is ALOT), have to go to the studio (who knows where it is) to take their photos. Now I'm in the dilemma of either going to the studio or just not take it at all OR hope they extend it since alot of ppl didn't get a chance to sign up...

IS IT HORRIBLE TO NOT TAKE GRAD PHOTOS? CAUSE I REALLLY DON'T WANNA tears.gif

I just had my grad photos taken today, actually. smile.gif I never bought any other pictures during my freshman, sophomore and junior years because it was such a waste of money. But, I think grad photos are actually worth it. I mean, not only do you get fancy copies of yourself in a spiffy robe/hat/with flowers/with a scroll, but you'll also have a picture on that huge portrait they may hang on your school wall with all the graduates AND it also appears in your yearbook smile.gif I mean, your grad picture may be the last (and in some cases, only!) picture the school has of you, and it'll stay there forever. I say that if you have to only get one picture in your entire school year, then grad pictures are the ones.

If a lot of people didn't get the chance to sign up, then perhaps you can mention to the school that they need to extend the date for grad pictures. It's weird yours are ending so early... mine are the entire week. Otherwise, I would recommend that you go to the studio. The pictures may be pricey, but I think they'll be worth it.

give them a little nudge, but if still they won't budge, i'm afraid that it's too late.

I think you should definitely take pictures; you'll regret it later. After all, high school graduation only happens once right? You can take it at a studio. Studios are actually a lot cheaper than the photographers schools provide. Mine was a total rip off, but for the sake of graduation pictures... sleep.gif

omfg. i got my grad photos back yesterday, and they are simply THE MOST horrible pictures i have ever taken. i am not even being a tad over-dramatic right now. and reading the comment above about how the picture will be in the halls of my school forever....it nearly gave me a heart attack. im hoping there will be a photo retake day...or else i would rather not have my picture in the yearbook at all than to put that ugly piece of mini cooper in there.

that being said, yes you should definitely take grad photos because it's your freakin high school graduation! this is what you've been going to school since kindergarden for. but just make sure they're good or you'll end up like me..very angry!!

Mine was in 2007.. don't remember! but we have part 2 of grad photos... didn't attend that.. because we got the message late on the same morning we're suppose to take it! It's kinda lame that they didn't give us the message before! Didn't get any of them!

ah damn. my grad pics were FREAKING UGLY. im not even kidding. definitely the worst pics ever. but then again im a lazy butt and took it with the company the school provided. my friend did hers at a studio (might i add cheaper too) and it turned out AMAZZZZING. she looks like a freaking angel -__-; anyways i think its worth it to take senior pics cuz its graduation!!! biggrin.gif
