Is there a way to heal wounds in your mouth?

I bit the side of my mouth x_x and it got swollen, so I kept on accidentally biting on it all day T_T

My mom said that there is something for this kind of stuff, but she forgot the name ;X

I can't really apply ointment to it or anything, because I'd end up eating it ;_;

This happens to me all the time. Just chew slowly and on the opposite side.
I know salt works for canker sores but I don't know about swolleness inside the mouth.
If you leave it alone, it will heal on its own.

there's probably something for it (they have a gel-ish thing for canker sores), but chances are, you don't really need it. I notice that mine heal quite fast.

I know, it sounds weird but it helps a lot. =D

I remember i had this chinese powder thing and you mix it with water and put it into your mouth. Taste really nasty, and i don't know the name but it was a brown powder.

don't worry too much about it. the mouth is thr fastest healing part of your body and it should be completely healed within a week or so

my mom used to make me wash my mouth w/ salt water =]
or you can put BEE POLLEN like.. a brown liquid on it. it stings for 5 seconds then it forms like a protective layerr.

for me, i usually leave it alone. but if it hurts a LOT, i usually put salt on it. [hurts like asdjkhfldhf, but gets better after] or you can go get some special mouth gel...?

i used to use that too! i dont have anymore though, which sucks cuhz i have those wounds in my mouth >.< but it should heal pretty soon, mines is already pretty small.

don't worry too much about it. the mouth is thr fastest healing part of your body and it should be completely healed within a week or so

I've heard that too. But if it's not healed in a week, or doesn't seem to be getting better, you might want to get it checked.

My question is.. can the inside of your mouth scar? Cos...the inside of my mouth isn't smooth where I bit it.. but I don't remember if that was there to begin with. ><

that happened to me recently! gosh it hurt so darn much T.T but if you know what panadol is..it's a type of pill..u crush it into like powder. and put some on your wound. it tastes weird. but do it for one or 2 days and the wound is gone. =]

this only happen to me when i chew too fast and hard.

It is probably just infected. You don't know how many germs are lying in wait in your mouth. Once there is an opening infection starts. I bite myself sometimes. I find the best way to treat it is disinfect your mouth by gargling with Listerine or some other antiseptic mouth rinse. I hope that helps.

it happens to me a lot like it pops up in the morning. ughh!
I just do nothing about it and let it heal xD
