Yoshiki Hayashi (林 佳樹, Hayashi Yoshiki?, born in Tateyama, Japan) is a Japanese musician, songwriter and producer. Throughout his professional career usually referred to by his given name only, he is primarily known for co-founding the popular rock band X Japan, for which he plays drums and piano, along with writing most of the music. He is currently involved with the supergroup Skin.



Late 2007 X- Japan released IV the ending theme song for the movie saw 4. X japan is also doing a set of concerts from 3-28 to 3-30 as a part of their reunion tour .

Yoshiki also had his project called Violet UK which is still active too, I think. And he produced a bunch of other bands, like Dir en grey and the TRAX.

And I really had a good laugh when I saw him on the 2004-season of Bullrun.

I can't remember where in Los Angeles he lives but he lives in his own little gated community. I'm guessing Beverly Hills?
His house is gorgeous though, white floors and walls, black furniture, and high ceilings. He obviously likes the black/white combination. And he likes roses too. His cars are amazing as well.

It's in Japanese, but it's a visual experience so don't worry if you don't understand. The lady is just explaining the atmosphere and design of the place and little bit of Yoshiki's style.

From what I've seen of him when I went to LA for Jrock Revolution and Anime Expo, he's a really sweet guy and cares a lot about the future of Japanese Rock and music. He cares a lot about his fans as well. I remember during Jrock Revolution, he brought hot chocolate to the people who slept outside the venue 3 days before the concert.
