hey!
I want to lose weight but don't know how?
can anyone help me out.
I want to try jogging but i have heard that you gain some weight because of the muscles and i want to lose weight not gain whether it is muscle
so it is not effective for me
how is bicycling or jumping rope?
do you lose weight by these sports?
or are there other sports you could recommend to lose weight?

I know two people who swam regularly to lose weight. And they slimmed down A LOT. Keep in mind though, you also have to watch what you're eating even if you're excercising.

cross country running, completely depletes your carbohydrate sources, fats and then it moves to protein as a source of energy but the example i just said is only if you run marathons...but cross country running can do 2/3, deplete carbs and fats (not as quickly though) btw Cross Country running/marathon running is all in the mind.. because after that first few kilometres you'll be dead tired

i would recommend jogging for long distances...so cross country would definitely be good.
running is good in the long run though, evenif you're worrying about weight.

but you should probably choose a sport that you like to do so it'd be easier to continue exercising in an effort to lose weight.
i know that i personally wouldn't get far if i didn't enjoy my exercises. ^___^;

WHYYY didn't i lose weight like that sad.gif grrrr
but yeah cross country is pretty awesome because you run like 4-6mi everyday for practice and you do hills too.
track is also pretty good, im doing that now, trying to lose tht last 10 lbs biggrin.gif
you could also do swimming, you'll get a really nice figure, but keep in mind tho that your body will develope a layer of fat on top because that's how your body keeps itself warm in the cold water, but i think you'll be fine cuz i mean you dont wanna be HECKA HECKA toned like guys

I agree. Swimming is the best form of exercise around because it works just about every muscle you have. rolleyes.gif

Put on music and dance like nobody's watching for 2 hours daily. By the third month you'll lose around 4-5kg aka 8-10 pounds. I lost 7kg last year. ._.
