I was just wondering how many moderators are on Soompi forums... how do you guys go through each thread?? That's some CRAZY reading... must be a 24/7 thing. Do you get paid? How old are the moderators? Do you go to school or work??

Click through one thread at a time. Not fun. We can't keep up with every topic, but we do our best. I'm up to 2-3 am often to check threads.
No, we're the only staff members on the forums that don't get paid; it's done on a volunteer basis. (Main site members do get paid though.)
Ages range from 17-30ish. Average is 20 something. Yeah we all work and go to school.
(x-factor > 1SwtDeception in guitar hero 3 and pokemon.)

I think x-factor might answer this for you before I do.. as he enjoys answering a lot of questions.
Anyways at the bottom of the board (Board Statistics) there is a link of The Moderating Team. You will find out how many of us are there.
We are all volunteers on this board and many of us have school, work, family, and other jobs.

Mods help out in the forums here. Staff do work for the soompi main site. Mods may also be staff.

Like x-factor said... one by one. It's crazy... but there isn't really any other way. Members don't always report other members breaking rules, so we have to find it ourselves. x-factor basically answered everything for you..

Who do you report members to? Do we report members for not following the rules, even after telling him/her numerous times?

The report button usually sends the message to all mods, if not the ones in charge of a particular section. (I don't know why, I always get reports for Selling&Trading, and I know nothing about that section's rules)
And if they don't follow the rules the first time, you should report them instead of wasting your time trying to get them to follow.

the mods on soompi are so cool.... 
I would like to add that mods should be very diverse in all nature. That way things would be fair for everyone.
