First cover for Scarlett's upcoming album "Anywhere I Lay My Head".

Hollywood A-List actress Scarlett Johansson's debut album tracklisting has been unveiled.

Her debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head is a Tom Waits covers album, featuring ten of his tracks.

The album, surprisingly, also includes a song penned by Johansson too. The original track is called 'Song For Jo'.

The album features contributions from several artists, including David Bowie, who contributes vocals to two tracks; 'Fallin' Down' and Fannin Street', Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner and TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek.

Idk but honestly, I don't think it's a good idea for actresses to turn into singers/vice versa.

Kelly Clarkson in From Justin to Kelly. Bad.
Britney Spears in Crossroads. Bad.
Jennifer Love Hewitt. OK. But no recognition for singing.

But whatever, good luck to her.

Mandy Moore is a good example of a successful actress/singer though. They say her Dedication movie was pretty good.

Not too sure about Scarlett about being a singer... I don't know what she's thinking. Her past few films have bombed at the box office... Is she that desperate for money or something? Now is certainly not a good time to promote herself as a singer when she needs to focus on her movie career at the moment. I mean, there's a reason why they pushed "Other Boleyn" into off-Oscar season.

Yeah, she was really good in A Walk To Remember, which made her really popular (as an actress.)

That was in the old days though, when it was cool to see 'singers' (i.e A Walk To Remember) and 'wrestlers' (i.e The Scorpion King) in movies.

Usually this is a rather bad move because most people can't really pull off two careers in different industries.

And its a Tom Waits tribute album of all things. I like Tom Waits, but I don't know about this. His style is really sort of out there, and I think hard to accomplish by anyone other than himself. It's a pretty risky move for a new singer in general, so that fact that its an actress/singer taking this on...
