Aha..yeah, that would probably be smarter.................But contacts feel so much more comfortable than glasses for me :T
And then when I wear contacts, it makes this mark on the bridge of my nose that seriously DOES NOT go away ....

them for maximum 8 hours, and glasses when you take them out.
Your eyes won't be able to breathe if you wear them for that long.
It might be the contacts as well.
Is it happening in both eyes?

only answer is to take out your contacts and wear your glasses.

And also, when you take them out before you sleep and soak them, how long do you leave it in the solution for? Sometimes, if it's soaked for less than 6 hours and you put them on, it does sting....
If all else fails, have you checked if the contacts are flipped inside out? This happened to me one time and my eye hurt like hell. I had no idea I wore it inside out too.....

A maximum of 8 hours wearing contacts should be it... they need air..
Try wearing your glasses when it's late at night instead of wearing your contacts...
you'll get used to them eventually

um, do u mean ur glasses mark the bridge of your nose? not contacts? go to your optometrist and get them to fix them. the nose pads could be too narrow [i.e squeeze your nose], your lenses could be too heavy [i.e opt for a thinner/lighter lens]...
it is never good to wear your contacts for long extended periods of time. i repeat....be prepared to face bad consequences later if you're really stubborn abt this.

for me, i sometimes wear it the max is 10hrs. even though it's not good already, and if it passes that time, my eyes starts stinging cause it's all dryed up and your eyes need to breathe.
but why do you need to wear it for THAT long? 7AM - 12 AM?

i only get those imprints cause my glasses are kinda tight
so i wear the ones i sat on like 3 times..
i can't stand wearing contacts for more than 6 hours...
and the longer you wear them the worse your vision gets..suffocates the eyes... well unless they're hard contacts

No, the obvious answer is to go to your optometrist right away, besides wearing only your glasses now. Forget about putting in another pair because you're only going to irritate your eyes even further. I know an office visit is not free, but it's a small price to pay in the long run.
I know everyone has said this before, but you're wearing your contacts for way too long. And even if other people have no problems wearing them for long periods of time, it doesn't mean that you won't. You're depriving your eyes of oxygen, and I'm sorry to say this, but what you're doing is really stupid. From 7 am to 12.....that doesn't even leave 6 hours for the contacts to be cleaned properly. There will always be a risk of going blind whenever you're wearing contacts, even if you're following instructions properly, so don't think that you're safe with the way you're handling your eyes.
I cannot stress this enough, but you need to immediately take those contacts out, use your glasses, and make an appointment to go see your optometrist right away. And while you're there, have the people there adjust your glasses so they're not so tight anymore.
You might think this is only a trivial matter, but honestly, it's your eyes. You only get one natural pair. It's not worth fooling around with. Good luck.
