Brown takes A LONG time to give confirmation of letters of rec. My teacher sent in a rec in October, but they never got it, but I sent it again in late January again, and they just confirmed it. So, you should be patient, or not just ask them if they got it and just haven't put up the date online.

i wouldn't worry too much. the teacher i asked to write my rec said that colleges are usually very lenient regarding recs, as long as your app is in on time, they allow the other materials to trickle in.

Ahh, this happened to me too! I totally freaked out when I got a letter from both of my top choices telling me that they didn't receive my academic recommendation. I had them written by the teacher who I trusted the most to write a strong recommendation for me too. But then they just told me to send it in ASAP so I had different teachers write them for me instead.

Yeahhhh, they are rather lenient about recommendations. I applied for early action for both of my schools and I thought they would take me off the early action thing, but yeahh.... soon after my second recommendations were sent out I got letters telling me I got accepted haha.

lol SERIOUSLY calm down and don't worry.
same thing happened to my friend last year. her teacher recs were apparently "not received" and yale, columbia and stanford sent her letters/emails saying that they didn't get the letters. of course she flipped out (same reaction as you) and she told her teachers what happened. they re-sent the recs but the schools didn't let her know that they received the recs until a LONG time after. she got accepted to stanford and columbia anyways x]
so moral of the story is, DON'T FREAK OUT! you're fine.
