As the title saids I own an 04 rx 330 and the other day my stereo just stopped working, the car comes with the premium Mark Levinson Sound System 6-indash CD player, and everytime i try to press something a message comes up and it saids ERROR 3, and according to the manual it tells you to keep pressing the eject button until the CD spits out because it might have been jammed. Well i've tried everything, and i've called the dealership and apparently i'm going to have to pay $1000 on repairing/replacing the damn thing. Does anybody know any alternative solutions for this problem? or even instructions on how to removing the deck itself would be great!!!

It seems this "ERROR 3" code/jamming is a common issue in Toyotas and Lexus cars, and has been for years. Suprising news to me. I've searched the internet and found several message boards with no safe solution except to take it to the dealer. But in your case this would be costly... the price to pay for driving a luxury car.
If you feel you want to take the chance and do something a little gutsy, I found this solution:
Now I wont take any responsibility for this, but it makes sense and might work. I have no clue how your stereo deck looks like but this person replied to another person with the same description stereo as your Mark Levenson stereo.

Press the load button. When the CD door opens, insert a thin, flat item
(a swiss army knife nail file works well) under the edge of the CD door
in order to hold it open. Look inside with a flashlight and see if you
can see a disc in there. If you can't see the edge of a disc, take it
to the dealer. If you can see the edge of a disc, you may be able to
get it out by this method:
take another metal nail file and tape a 3" long piece of clear plastic
shipping tape onto the top of the nail file starting near the tip and
going down the length, with one edge of the tape even with the right
edge of the nail file. Trim the tape so the amount of tape sticking out
from the left edge is a bit wider than twice the width of the nail
file. Line up the nail file just to the right of the center of the disc
and with the adhesive side down, insert the tip of the nail file above
and about 2" past the front edge of the disc. Slide the swiss army
knife onto the top of the piece of tape and tamp the tape down onto the
disc. Now pull the tape and the other nail file out, hopefully pulling
the disc with it.

If you still have the warranty on your Lexus, I suggest going to the dealership. Otherwise I would start shopping for a new player because Toyota never made a decent head unit. That's probably the only thing I can fault them on.
-edit- from what I hear on the Lexus auto forums, it has to deal with the laser alignment. Just a reminder, I don't know but I've searched and this is the best I came up with.

dont buy another oem deck, go to your local best buy or circuit city have someone install a nice double din deck stero for your car =]... wala problem solved.
btw the reason it keeps getting jammed is because the oem toyota & lexus deck is VERY picky about what kind of CD you put inside your car, let me guess, most of your CD's are burned and the media you used is not the best branded CDs
