The only song I'm thinking of that is perfect on what you are looking for is AAA's Kimono Jet Girl song.

wait.......... so you're dancing with kimonos and fans and all that good traditional stuff.

i imagine you're looking for traditional music? it's just that i can't imagine you guys dancing in kimonos to Seishun Amigo it does have what you're looking for, fast and slow paced, but it's just not right for the theme of the clothing you'll be wearing.

are you looking for instrumental, enka...... kabuki even or do you want to dance to pop? if so, someone mentioned Sakura Mankai just watch the video and you'll get an idea, that'd be a good option...... though i'd still go for traditional.

I wouldn't do enka... perhaps because it's not up to modern tastes. Shimatani's songs are good, but aiko's slower songs are good as well.

I agree. If you're using traditional stuff for props, then go for Morning Musume Sakuragumi. Either Sakura Mankai or Hare Ame Nochi Suki (Sakura Mankai is preferable). Then there's this cute song called Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vP_rInktOaU

If you want the more upbeat song, try Sukiyaki by Morning Musume http://youtube.com/watch?v=hHPaeK5_KHw

Other than Morning Musume, you can check out:

Berryz Koubou - Very Beauty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGPLE25H974

Ahaha...you can tell Im a Hello! Project fan sweatingbullets.gif Hope that helps anyway!
