In years past at trade shows like the 3GSM World Congress, Samsung has repeatedly besieged the eager mobile consumer with a sundry of innovative new products. At the 2008 convention, Samsung didn’t fail to live up to continuing expectations. The company unveiled more than twenty new handsets, many of which are fresh out of the mobile laboratory – including the much-hyped offering from Samsung and B&O - the 3G, dual-slider F400.

Slide the front upwards and you get your keypad. Slide it down and your B&O speakers heave into view (below). The sleek slider design is terrifically eye-catching and coalesces a number of really cool features into one unique little mobile package.
In addition to the 2.2-inch QVGA display, there is also an RDS-enabled FM radio and MicroSD card slot. The device, which officially launches in March, fallsunder Samsung’s “Multimedia” category. And what a multimedia phone it truly is. The F400 features a music player, stereo speakers, an FM radio, music recognition, multiformat audio and video support, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and a 3-megapixel camera. The F400 is triband (GSM 900/1800/1900) and it supports European 3G networks.
