I've always thought about whether people actually feel less stressed when they share or talk about their problems online. Does it feel better to rant online because people don't know you or does that take away the comfort of ranting online?

i like venting to complete strangers -- they don't know you so they have no way of judging you and the people you complain about never find out! i.e. my roommate.

yup, i express my feelings more online cuz they dont know me and if i say something wrong it wont haunt me since i told a complete stranger who knows nothing about me

sometimes. it depends on the problem.... but talking to random people online certainly makes u feel better. at least you're not bottling everything up.. and get a heartburn.
