Hi everyone!
I'll be doing a scholarship interview tomorrow. The scholarship is worth $10,000-$13,000 and is the college's top scholarship given. I've never done a college interview! I've done three interiews in my life. Two of them were for internships. I nailed one and failed the other. The third one was for the job I currently have. Other than that, I don't have experience in college interviews at all! I'm freaking out, actually. There is a school dance and an Open Mic event tonight I'm skipping out on to "study" but I don't really know how to study because I don't know firsthand how college interviews are like!!! Any advices, oh so much more experienced fellow Soompiers? I have a lot of issues with questions at the end. You know, when your interviewer asks if you have any questions and if you don't, it shows you don't have interest at all in the position or whatever you're interviewing for. Suggestions? Tips? AAAAHHH!

I'm freaking out!

Thanks in advance, anyone!

ahahaha i just finished my last interview a week ago. so basically i did like 6 interviews LOL.
ok here's my take. it's gonna sound REALLY cliche, but seriously just be yourself. don't think of the person who's interviewing you as your interviewer, but more as a friend. the best way to go is to have a conversation rather than a Q&A session (where the person asks you and you answer.) and really talk about the things you're good at. don't try to sound smart or act smart, don't talk about things you don't understand. i think it really shows if you talk about the things you're passionate about. basically, just show you're personality. obviously always be respectful and polite though. really be charismatic/ charming and have a sense of humor too. it shows when you're nervous, so don't be! and you'll do fine biggrin.gif
GOOD LUCK!! (hopefully i was helpful XD)
