Bumping old topic! Does anybody know any good alternative rock songs that could be easy to sing as an acoustic? A friend and I are planning to do a duet, so I'm trying to pick out some good songs before we make our choice.. a good example would be The Scientist - Coldplay. It doesn't neccessarily have to be a duet song, because we'll find a way around it. THANKS =)!

I think you can choose any song (that fits your voices), split the lyrics after your vocal registers and add some harmonizations if there isn't a lot of them, but that's just my personal opinion since I think the highlights in duets are the harmonization parts

Against all odds (originally a solo by Phil Collins but I've heard A LOT of duet versions of this and it's personally one of my favourites ^^)

I've had the time of my life with Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes (dirty dancing soundtrack justbecause I couldn't think of an uptempo duet right now )
