People say it works but i don't think Ill ever try it. vicx.gif
I remember watching the Tyra Show And this expert said that Mayo does nothing for your hair except make it greasy.
I would just use a deep conditioner, leave in for 20 min. and rinse. blush.gif

I watched that too! And I wouldn't use it. It's gonna make your hair really really oily. And it'll probably take some time to get ti off. and the smell too =x

hahah, to tell you the truth.. I do it ^__^!
It makes my hair shine and have a healthy look for some reason.
And it's soft feeling too o_o
But I usually do it for uhh, 2-3 hours?
You should have something to prevent the oils going to your face
Remember to wash your hair after reaal good, or else you'll be sleeping smelling like mayo XD!
(Do it once a week)
I'm currently semi hiatus at the moment due to school.
*still pm me please, although it might take awhile to reply!

Ews. I tried the mayo one like a year ago. It just made my hair an oily and clumpy mess. It smelt funny, too. sweatingbullets.gif

it only looks "healthy" cuz there's so much oil and saturated/trans fat being thrown into the hair, so of course it'd be soft and shiny o_O

I don't advise it.
My hair was sooo greasy for like 3 days. & I WASHED MY HAIR EVERYDAY.
and the smell stays on for like literally a week.
It's DISGUSTINGGG.

omg. do you really want mayonaise or olive oil in your hair? just because they are oil based (or oil themselves) doesn't mean they are going to do great things for your hair. they are hard to wash out (mulitple washings) and they make your hair smell, more so the mayoniase. studies have shown that they don't do anything for your hair

if you want to smell funky and be greasy, by all means do it. but really, cough up the money for a deep conditioner ( my friend uses garnier fructese) and pop that on your hair. if you want deeper conditioning, put a cap on and leave it on for a half hour to an hour, rinse and amazing you have soft hair without the smell and residue

i agree with them :3

it may feel great right after but it is probably just putting even more oil and residue build-up on your hair sad.gif which wouldn't be any good. i would go to a hair salon and invest in a really great hair treatment mask ~ and just use it once a week, leaving it in your hair to deep condition for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. I sometimes leave it in up to 20 minutes :3 depending on what i'm doing. <3 and it works great.

if you have a hair masters nearby they usually have really good sales smile.gif all the time

How exactly does that work? Do the splits just fall off? or do they actually repair?
