I don't know if this is the right answer or not:
24x^5-20x^4+4x^3
= 4x^3(6x^2-5x+1)
= 4x^3 2x(3x-1)-1(3x-1)
= 4x^3(3x-1)(2x-1)
OR
=2x^3(12x^2-10x+2)
= 2x^3 12x(x-1) 2(x+1)
= 2x^3(x-1)(12x+2)

Simplifying
24x5 + -20x4 + 4x3
Reorder the terms:
4x3 + -20x4 + 24x5
Factor out the Greatest Common Factor (GCF), '4x3'.
4x3(1 + -5x + 6x2)
Factor a trinomial.
4x3((1 + -3x)(1 + -2x))
Final result:
4x3(1 + -3x)(1 + -2x)
Simplifying
24x5 + -20x4 + 4x3
Reorder the terms:
4x3 + -20x4 + 24x5
Factor out the Greatest Common Factor (GCF), '4x3'.
4x3(1 + -5x + 6x2)
Factor a trinomial.
4x3((1 + -3x)(1 + -2x))
Final result:
4x3(1 + -3x)(1 + -2x)
