Seems kinda odd... Everyone seems to win @ those win free gym memberships. I've personally won as well. It may be just a marketing ploy for them to get leads to people who are interested in gym memberships.
But Pricing as far as I recall from my gym memberships
24 Hr fitness is around 44 all club unlimited access (month to mont)
Spectrum Club is around 42 one club unlimited access (month to month)
Bally's is around 30 one club unlimited access (month to month)

there's a gym in my area that has all the normal gym equipment plus a rock wall and water slide and membership starts at 60/month. considering that most gyms cost about 30/month and the rock climbing center here costs 30-40/month, i'd say its a good deal.
check out multiple gyms and see what they offer. then ask yourself if you are going to take advantage of all the available amenities and then select the gym that caters to your needs at the best price point.

do they have a pool? sauna? air conditioning? do they spend money on flat screen tvs and are their machines new and in good condition? is there plenty of staff available for help? is there anything that indicates that this gym is a "nice" gym to go to? if it is, i wouldnt mind paying 66 a month.

It's really nice, clean & they have alot of classes for free (Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, Kickboxing, etc). They have a pool too! Well..atleast the one I go to.
Uhm, if you join for a year, then it's 594$ (including the three free months)
That's not that bad, acutally.
