I went through the first 10 pages and I didn't see a thread like this, Soooo ANWAYS~~
Yeupp I have. Oh boy have I wanted to just die or disappear..

One day my mom was picking my friend and I in the parking lot. When we were leaving, there were these kids drifting and my mom started yelling "HEYYYY! CUT THAT OUT!!!!" And I was like O.O 'Mom shut up..' (In my head). Oh but that wasn't the end! When we started driving away, she stopped her car in front of this truck, rolled down her window, and started yelling at him. Turns out...that was the wrong person! And he was just looking at my mom like.."WTF?" ph34r.gif So I told her it was the wrong person, it was the car in driving away in front of us. So she decided to catch up to them...oh god...
So when we all stopped at the stoplight, she GOT OUT OF HER CAR and started walking the the driver and started yelling at him. I didn't hear what she was saying because my head was being covered with my language arts book :X The truck driver who my mom yelled at was staring at us a lot with an angry face..and then..yea, that was it.

Whew! I thought that was the first and last time that was EVER going to happen. Boy was I WRONG. It happened again today, but the scenario was different.

So my friend and I were sitting waiting for my mom to pick me up again, and then these black people near us start yelling at each other, getting all worked up. So they walked away from the school to go fight each other. Yeaaa and with the luck I ALWAYS have, my mom picks us up at that time they started to fight each other. So after we get into the car, she pulls her car over, gets out ONCE again, and starts walking over to them yelling "Is there a problem?!?!?!" And then they just....disperse O.o They all say no and start walking away. But THEN! The one guy who was fighting wouldn't leave and my mom and another lady were yelling at him to leave while he cussed them out. Then we left...and..yea..I don't want her picking me up for a while.. ph34r.gif

So yea! Sorry that was so long.
Do you guys's parents ever embarress you?

My dad rolled down the windows in the car and blasted out Vietnamese music.
Like old school Vietnamese music. While the younger drivers blared out hip hop and rap.

That was embarassing.

Actually although my mom has done some things some might consider embarrassing for some reason I stopped being embarrassed of family a long time ago.

My mom =_= ALWAYS. She has a horrible temper and just does not care what people think. I can't think of certain situations though XD, just if somebody is rude to her or they cut her off while she's driving...Yeah, she goes off. All cursing and the flipping of the bird dry.gif.

A softer side of her, was the day I was graduating from highschool. She kept randomly hugging me throughout the entire day (IN PUBLIC) squealing about how proud and happy she was. It was embarrassing but also sweet because she never really shows that much affection. I'm always the one bouncing all over her.

Oh, and whenever some guy stares at me. she says in a REALLY loud voice:
"I KNOW my daughter's pretty! You don't have to stare at her so long."
And if my dad's around he's all
"O_O! WHAT?! WHO WHERE?! I'LL KILL HIM >:O!"

It's like...no. I'm really...no.

My mom wanted to return chocolate that my brother bought her and she cant speak english very well so the girl was just like "huh" and "what?"
and we argued with the girl cause she said my mother couldn't return the chocolate but my mom wanted to anyways. There was like 10 people waiting behind us -__-

In the end my mom was like "forget it. lets go"

My parents have pulled alot of embarrassing things on me but not to the point where I would want to die. LOL.
Too extreme.

Well apparently one time my dad was out in public and picking his nose and my ex crush passed by, saw him,
and told me all about it the day after. >.<

& my mom likes to burst out singing in ancient vietnamese songs whenever my friends come over.
Ohh and whenever they can't find me in a big department store they go around yelling my vietnamese name really loud.

I just want to hide in a box afterwards!

Lol, that's pretty embarrassing. Mine are just little things like if I'm buying clothes my mom will like hold underwear and other stufff and yell out my name really loudly and tell me to look at it. sleep.gif That's already pretty bad to me.

When I was in 9th grade, I was shopping with my mom. When I went into The Gap, my crush was in there but I tried looking all nonchalant. Then my mom asks in her freaking loud voice "Why are you so red?!".. She asked me like 3 times. It was so humiliating.

My mom once tried to return something at Banana Republic after wearing it for a year. And she wanted me to translate for her. God, I wanted to die of embarassment.

My dad used to always wear his James Bond sunglasses and turn up his music REALLY loud when he came to pick me up at my high school. In front of all the "cool Asian kids" too. Haha! smile.gif

nothing much but when my mom talks to people she doesnt know .. (my friends parents, etc..)
its so embarrasing because she talks so LOUD!! shes just practically screaming at them, and she puts on this really.. weird accent.. >_>

i always feel like disappearing in situations like these..

and also when my dad sings in public.. its not exactly the best thing to listen to either..

A couple months ago, my friend was sleeping over and my mom came home at like three in the morning to inform me she had just bought a pair of $150 chaps. Like the kind motorcyclists wear, the leather ones. And then she put them on and walked around in them. -_____-;; I still don't know why she bought them.

And in Jr.High, whenever my dad picked me up from school he would take his car he's "fixing up", and he rigged it so it rides reallllyyyy low to the ground, and he would sit and BLARE AVRIL LAVIGNE MUSIC WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN.

I'm not kidding. My father likes Avril Lavigne.

lol. There's probably more, but that's what I can think of right now.

I guess old school Asians have no problem picking their nose in public?

I hate it when my dad spits a loogey in public. AHH! Sooo gross. And when he blows his nose super duper loud and everyone just stares at us.
And the thing went..BAM!

uhh my mum all the time.
um we were in malaysia. in a big crowd of people waiting to get back on the buses after a tour. and to my 10 year old brother there she yells DO YOU NEED A WEE WEE?? JAMES WEE? ANYONE? MAKE SURE BEFORE BUS GONE. the whole crowd was like facing us. and someone left the door of their hotel room ajar while they ate breakfast around a table and mum was like QUICK COMPARE THEIR ROOM TO OURS. and was bitching about how much better the interior was to her sister. while everyone eating breakfast inside that room was turned around like mellow.gif mellow.gif unsure.gif once we got to the dining area this good looking girl sat near a table to us and mum went UM SHES PRETTY BUT YOU BEAT HER HOHOHO. so the girl stares daggers down at me. pretty much insight into two hours of our holiday. my dad not so much but he likes to drive around in his overworked ute with barrels of swarming beehives in the back, windows rolled down, cranking the classical music.
