Anemia? Is it?

Anyway, recently I started noticing that whenever I get up from bed in the morning, or when I stand up after sitting for a long time, I get really lightheaded. It's hard for me to gauge distance and everything becomes a little brighter and I sway around a bit, before getting back to normal, like colors fixed, and not dizzy anymore. My leg has also been a constant source of problem, but that's a different story. But I getreally cold sometimes, like my fingers and toes will feel like icicles, and I'll have on like 2 sweaters, sweats, and socks and I'm literally shaking and the room is at least 75 degrees. Then I'll get really warm, and take off my sweater. Then the same thing.
My friend told me it's an iron deficiency.
keep the faith.

I have it sometimes too. If I sit somewhere for a while.
When I went to see for the doctor, he said there isn't anything to do about.
Just take your time to stand up after sitting for a while.

Also, I've noticed that most girls have cold hands and feet, while men's are all sweaty and warm...why is that?

When I wake up, I have to sit up on my bed for a few seconds so I don't get dizzy.
I don't know if I have anemia though.. because my fingers and toes are always sooo cold in the winter .__.

I suggest you go see your doctor. When I was younger, I became very anemic, to the point where I couldn't get out of bed (and couldn't feel my legs

I get that sometimes too.
Get a blood test at the doctor's if you want to check your iron.
I do get a 'coldness' problem too when winter approaches. I think it is similar to yours but not entirely.

I checked at the doctor's once, and it's only like, 4 points below normal.
Is that bad? :/
Hm, suppose I should get this checked out then.

I decided to donate blood one day at a blood drive at school, and I couldn't b/c my iron level was too low :\ He told me to eat more stuff with iron in it but I just take iron supplements now. I haven't been half-fainting anymore when i stand up so that must have been it

Every morning when I woke up, I got really dizzy and my vision shut down or something.
Drink more water and try to sleep more.

Ah, okay. Time to go find some iron-rich foods and see how it goes.
Ahahaha yeah, I went on that insane diet, I gave up on it. Also, because my friends threatened to kill me before the diet did if i kept going lol XD

One of my coworkers has anemia, and whenever she gets overwhelmed with dizziness she just steps aside drinks some water and tries to rest for a bit.
