I'm still for Edward all the way baby!! I know some people think that he is overbearing but his good traits overshadow some of his flaws..it just makes him better because he is not really that perfect and he knows that as well.

He respects Bella's opinion. He doesn't push her to like him more than the other. In fact, he would rather her NOT like him, just to keep her safe. Unlike Jacob, would just pretty much tells her "I'm the better on. Love me more."
At least that's how i see it..

I'm in the vast minority, but I chose Jacob.

Edward: "liquid topaz eyes", "velvet voice", "marble chest", yadda yadda. He's over-protective (giving Bella a ridiculous car, not allowing her to make decisions for herself), patronizing, self-sacrificing, always the "better man", beautiful, fast, strong, smart. So why don't I like Edward? He's boring AS CRAP. I can't believe that so many girls are infatuated with this one-dimensional, bland, poorly-developed character. He's so stereotypical that, when I read it, I pretty much lost all respect for Meyer as a writer. He's basically...the "WHAT NOT TO WRITE" for those of us who have earned degrees in literature/creative writing.

Jacob was amusing, at least. Edward? Boring as hell. Gee, I wonder what he's going to do next? Be chivalrous and kind? Be self-sacrificing? REALLY? *sarcastic* Wow, what a surprise...not.

why didn't i think of this? lol with all those other Harry or Edward threads no one thought of "Edward or Jacob"? lol funny...anyways i voted for Jacob and saw the results...it made me sad

but i'll still stand by Jacob. whoot, whoot i got your back "JAKE!" lol! i don't know why but Edward never really got to me even in the beginning. i felt no connection like the other readers. but for some reason Jacob had me

Sure, he's perfect and all, but... seriously, perfection is boring.

Agreed.

Jacob is so cute and funny and exciting, he obviously cares for Bella a lot, and puts in so much effort. Edward is amazing and perfect, but too dominating and while Bella enjoys it..i think he's too suffocating. XD

bella and edward suit each other better but i definitely like jacob more. i was on team edward in the beginning but he totally annoyed me in BD. plus i feel like i don't know much about him besides his broad marble chest. jacob can be annoying but he's more well rounded and human.
