Is it bad to send in the FAFSA late? I know that most schools take them late, but is it bad...?

Well I read the other day that the deadline we're told of is for early priority, but that you could apply all the way through the summer. I'm not sure if that's true or not though. You can still try though, just to file it in and see what you can get, as well as just so your schools know your financial info.

you just want to get it in as early as you can b/c the financial aid is on a first come first served basis

yea the deadline for fafsa is when they run out of funds so hurry!

you apply for fafsa after January 1st on your senior year of hs.
then during college you have to fill in fafsa every year as well.

It will DEFINITELY make a difference. I sent in my FAFSA in May the first time, and received significantly less money than I did the second time, when I turned it in early.
