In my desperation, I've given up on trying to find LQ files for my dramas and now I've resolved to trying to find a way to convert HQ into LQ. Is there a program of any sort to do such a thing? Please help =X

curious, why would you want LQ files? you trying to fit multiple on a CD?

anyways, you can do it with virtualdub. open your video and resave it to a 350MB CBR file. it supports batch processing too. oh yeah, its free. but it will take time to convert... blink.gif

lol mellow.gif. yeah i know what you mean..those dramas take up a lot of space, but they wouldnt prevent your computer from booting up tongue.gif. consider other means like burning dramas onto DVDs. converting say a 1h each, 16 episode drama series takes a while crazy.gif unless you have a pretty swift computer... also consider another HDD if you like to collect dramas on your drive?

You could burn as a data disc instead of converting the format (of course with DVDs or eve better move them to an external hard drives). I would probably also test a few encodes just to make sure the outcome video is something you would want to watch - don't want to lose too much quality.

Here are some additional programs you could look into.. You may also want to check out AfterDawn, they have quite a bit of resources available for questions regarding DVD/CD/audio/video/etc.
