No offense, but how do you guys differentiate between a korean and a japanese?

I can't quite put my finger on where the difference lies. ( excluding eyelids cos now double eyelids are so common whether surgical or born with)

Koreans seem to dress more sophisticated whereas Japanese people are more... cute? Their eyes say a lot too. But other than that, it's hard to explain.

Erk.. I'm pretty sure all Asians are able to tell them apart.

It's pretty easy to tell. It's the way they dress and the way they do their hair. I don't know, just by looking at their face you can kinda tell.

i can usually distinguish koreans from japanese...but japanese from chinese is kinda hard sometimes

and i agree with the eyes..like not just the eyelids, but...(no offence intended), but the koreans i've seen in real life look really mean..chinese look plain =x

Their faces are a dead giveaway. Watch some kung fu movies and dramas and you'll get the hang of it.

also by height, japaneses tend to be shorter
and just be looking at their face, i watch dramas to much

i just came back from jpan and korea and there was defin a BIG difference in the way the girls looked.
Japanese girls were very very trendy with dyed hair and lots of kawaii things, a lot more vibrant and colorful and bling.

korean girls all had black hair, all sported the same fashion, it was very monotonous their girls looks...very uniform...and very korean, hahaha

personally i prefer the korean fashion sense, its more toned down i guess. Also...hairstyle is a dead giveaway. Those girls in japan ..their hair, is like WOAH. looks like they came straight out of a magazine.

the one way that i know whats the difference is that some japenese have a lil bigger eyes and kinda a smaller face but thats my opinon! and koreans have idk meduim eyes ahahha!

but really, sometimes those generalizations really don't apply and you can't tell unless you hear them talking
and then you'll know by their accent or language =)

i can't say much about japanese because i only know like 5 and the are all very different from each other.

koreans tend to taller and i thnk they have bigger eyes [fat koreans usually have small eyes]. a lot of them maintain their blakc hair, but somedont.
both of them are very trendy.

that pretty much only applies to "fobby" koreans and japanese.

but the lips and noses are different somewhat.
And the shapes of the eyes.

you can tell by the eyes, definitely. if not the face overall.

I'm usually more confused between chinese/japanese or chinese/korean, but not korean/japanese.
