i guess there's always this one part where
a character mixes rice and a whole other bunch of good stuff in a big bowl..
and when the finish mixing it, it's red/orange.. It sounds like they just mixed kimchi and rice..
so the question is...
What exactly did they mix in the bowl with rice?
Is there a specific name for it?
Whenever i see them eat that it makes me really really crave for it <3

You add some rice, veggies, meat, and a fried egg. And lots of pepper paste.
Basicall, you can add anything you have laying around the house.
It's a yummy way to get rid of leftovers. haha
Cute tops, cardigans, and more!

bibimbap is the equivalent of chinese fried rice i think
but if you are a foreigner and can't eat other korean food, it is a good choice

actually isn't the dolsot bibimbap(?) cooked in a hot stone pot where the rice in the bottom becomes fried?

it isn't fried. it turns hot because of the hot stone. the hard rice is called "noorungji"
fried is when something is cooked in burning oil.
and fried rice in korean would be called "bokkeum bap"

orenji bubbles
well yeah it isn't technically fried like frying french freis or rice.
but dolsot bibimbob has some oil at the bottom to give that crispiness. and then you mix the ingredients like how you mixed fried rice. to me, it just feel like fried rice lol
yeah i know what bokkeum bap is. hmm, they put kimchi and sometimes cheese in it
anyways i prefer dolsot bibimbap

uhm. alright then.
it turns crispy, but i still dont think it's like fried rice. but you're entitled to your own opnion ^^;
i just think of frying rice in a fry pan when i think of fried rice, so bibimbap and fried rice are very different to me.

bibimbap is totally different from bokeumbap,
the only difference between the two is that bokeumbap is fried and bibimbap isnt..., lol
