Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day is a 2008 romantic comedy film starring Frances McDormand and Amy Adams, based on the 1938 novel by British author Winifred Watson.

Plot Summary:
Guinevere Pettigrew, a middle-aged London governess, finds herself unfairly dismissed from her job. An attempt to gain new employment catapults her into the glamorous world and dizzying social whirl of an American actress and singer, Delysia Lafosse.

Looks like a fun film for a date. Otherwise, I'd probably watch it with my mom. She loves these kind of flicks. Amy Adams is a silly crush of mine anyways.

This sounds so cute! I loved Amy Adams in Enchanted! Lee Pace was really good in Pushing Daisies too, hope that show comes back!

I really loved Amy Adams in Enchanted and she looked so pretty at the Oscars! I saw this preview and I am pretty interested in the movie. She plays this "ditzy, whimsical" character pretty well.

I remember seeing the preview and wanting to watch it. The plot seems interesting and it even has Lee Pace in it

I read a review in the New York Times and am even more excited to watch this

ive seen the trailer but never knew lee pace was in it. that makes me want to watch this movie now.

anyone see this year? im kinda curious whether it's good or not. the trailer makes it seem like a cute movie. but i mainly wanna see it for lee pace

and i heard he doesn't get that much screen time
